Internal and External Paper Assignment Sheet with Citations

Explain how the internal AND external factors of the main characters govern their behavior OR what happens to them in the texts **at least one internal and one external for each character listed below**: The Story of an Hour and A Rose for Emily.

The two main character that you must focus on in The Story of an Hour are Mr. Mallard and Mrs. Mallard

You will need to cite and use direct quotes, paraphrases or summaries for the characters you write about in your paper and the authors. 

You will need to cite at least 1 reference from the that concerns either Faulkners biographical/contextual information, character analysis, or internal vs external forces/factors that shaped his authorial voice.
