Discussion 2 Pros & Cons of Social Media for Nutrition News – Social Medium 4

What’s your go-to website or app for finding out about food an nutrition? What nutrition news are you looking for when you click on a site like Instagram, Pinterest, YouTube, TikTok, Twitter, or Facebook? What are the good and not so good things about social media for learning about food, nutrition and health? Share your thoughts and experiences using social media for advice. This is a THINK PIECE assignment.

Writing your Think Piece Your think piece has four parts: (1) Describe a situation where you are likely to use social media for nutrition advice. (2) List two or more social networking websites or apps where users create and share nutrition content. (3) Explore the sites and/apps: Share your opinion: Would you rely on them for nutrition advice? (4) Explain why or why using recommended nutrition resources as background information and results of your lateral reading investigation as examples. Your think piece is 300-500 words that address all four points.
