Further, I’d like you to familiarize yourself with the concept of œGroupthink as well as review three different research experiments that have taken place regarding conformity and group dynamics. These include studies by Solomon Asch, Stanley Milgrim and theZimbardo œStanford Prison Experiment. To this end, I would like you to not only read what is in your text/notes, but to also review the Wikipedia entries on each study. I would also like you to watch each of the following youtube videos: The Milgram study: (The part most relevant to this DB will begin at approximately 2.5 minutes into the segment.) What was your impression /reaction to the above research? 2. Given what each study seems to indicate, do you feel we are prisoners of our socialization and pressures to conform to our society?
