Decision-making and Philosophy Part I: Philosophy and the Self

Draft a six- to eight-page paper based upon a life-changing decision you or someone in your community has had to make. Address the following (1) Identify a decision about which reasonable minds can disagree; (2) explain the nature of belief and identify the beliefs and values that informed the decision that was made; (3) explain a relevant theory of human freedom, consciousness, and/or reality; (4) analyze how the chosen theory might approach the decision, including the relevant considerations and the ultimate conclusion reached.Explain the relevant theories with support from the course texts) and from pre-approved secondary sources (including, but not limited to, the course text, online lectures, and a list of suggested online resources). In addition to the assigned readings, you should also read and address least one of the primary text selections in the course textbook. You should cite all resources using correct APA citation.
