visit one house of worship from a tradition

You will be expected to visit one house of worship from a tradition other than your own. A list of sites in and around San Diego is provided on page two of this document, but you are not required to choose from this list alone. You may visit a site that is not listed, but you must do so for a service, meditation/dharma talk, prayer gathering, or some other worship-based activity. A tour of the facility does not count as a site visit. It is up to you to find out the activity schedule for the facility of your choice. After your visit you will be expected to write a minimum of 1,300 words describing your experience. Site visit write-ups must include the following:
The date, time, location of your visit, and the type of service you attended, e.g. Noon Prayer (Jummah), Prayer Circle, temple worship, dharma talk, etc.
A detailed description of the service itself, including your thoughts and feelings as you observed and/or participated in the activities.
A detailed description of your encounters with any members of the worship community, including your thoughts and feelings during and after the encounter(s).
A detailed description of any and everything you learned about the tradition, the people, and yourself as a result of your visit, and how you will take that learning into your future life.
