Assessment item 6: Completion of pre-laboratory work. Intent: To encourage you to read the practical methodology before class and come prepared with prior knowledge of the experiment or questions to fill the gaps in your knowledge. Additionally, you will learn the basic calculations required for a wide range of experimental methods. Objectives: To develop skills and understanding of proteomics techniques. This assessment task contributes to the development of the following graduate attributes: 1. Disciplinary knowledge and its appropriate application 2. An Inquiry-oriented approach 3. Professional skills and their appropriate application 4. Ability and motivation for continued intellectual development Task: A list of questions is printed at the start of each practical in this manual. You must complete the questions and have them reviewed by their demonstrator prior to starting or during laboratory work.
