You should articulate how the author defines the American Dream, whether the author believes this dream is attainable for African Americans, and whether the dream is illusion or reality. If the dream is attainable, how does that author believe it is attained? If it is not attainable, why not? What prevents the realization of this dream? And what are the effects of its deferral?
