Write an English Literature Research Paper on the the different female characters in Othello, and comparing and contrasting each character, and how it gives the reader an idea of Shakespeares perspective on the role of women and marriage. Discuss in depth the patriarchal society and analyze how each of the three women in Othello respond to this. I will then connect this to Shakespeares views on women and marriage.The introduction will explain the papers research question and why its worth considering. Several (but not all) paragraphs will explore how that question is answered in a literary text. Every paragraph will begin with a claim that is supported by evidence and thoughtful analysis. At least one paragraph will explain clearly and with a critical eye one critics perspective and how that supports, revises, and/or undermines your own analysis. The concluding paragraph will raise new and interesting questions with suggestions for further research.
