I did in-vitro experiment of salmeterol and salbutamol in the isolated pig trachea. we used ACh to contract the tissue and then we used salmeterol and salbutamol (cumulative doses) in present of the maximum dose of ACh. this experiment is important for asthma study. we did it to improve a better drug to treat asthma and to observe how effective these drugs in it.
