Review Chapter 9: Family Law of the textbook in preparation for this assignment.

Write a five to six (5-6) page paper in which you:

 

  1. Include a brief summary of the definition of a family.
  2. Explain how marriage is a contract with the state.
  3. Examine and discuss three (3) rights and / or benefits that are conferred by marriage.
  4. Describe the process of ending spousal relationships and examine three (3) challenges that may occur as a result of ending the relationship.
  5. Use at least two (2) quality resources in this assignment. Note: Wikipedia and similar Websites do not qualify as quality resources.
