I want you to experience a horror film from another country.  Watch one of the movies I have linked to below.  Write a 1400 word essay on the paper.  I want you to analyze it as a horror film and whether it is a good work in the horror genre but I also want you to discuss what makes this different from American horror films. Choose one and write about that one.  Just that one.  If you can find these to stream on another service, feel free and most of these can be obtained on DVD as well.

Take this assignment very seriously.  I know it is easy to dismiss some of these as campy schlock but that is not good criticism and that is not your assignment and frankly, that is not very mature behavior.
