This assignment will be based upon understanding the difference between white collar crime, organized crime, professional crime corporate crime and occupational crime.

Instructions:

Criminologist Donald Cressey has speculated that at some point in the early 21st century we will no longer be able to tell the difference between white collar crime and organized crime.  Do you agree with this statement, and if so, why?  Do you see the line blurring anywhere else, such as between white collar crime and professional crime, or white collar crime and corporate or occupational crime?  Please explain your answers and provide specific examples.
