How does social media impact individuals and businesses?  Choose a famous person or a company related to your major and compare how they are presented/represented in two different social media platforms.  Things to consider:

what they post themselves

what is posted about them

how people respond to those posts

how/if they respond to the public responses

how they respond to negative posts/complaints about products

The conclusion of your document should indicate whether or not social media is helpful for this person/entity and should indicate if you think this comparison reflects the general state of social media. Your document should be written as a narrative essay, with an introduction, body, and conclusion.  Write in 3rd person–do not use “I” or “we” unless you are quoting.  Remember to credit your sources–you may use MLA or APA format, just make sure you do it correctly.
