For the upcoming Fall semester, freshmen are hunting for dorms and apartments. In order to assist the families to find the most suitable apartment, the University sampled the current off-campus apartments and found out that the one bedroom apartment in Austin ranges from $768~$1170 per month. Refer to the data-set named Student Survey (sheet 1) to answer the following questions about the sample.

1. At the .05 significance level for a two-tailed test, can we conclude that there is a difference in the mean renting prices of apartments with a community gym and apartments without a gym?

2. Assuming we know that the Sample Standard Deviations are: X: s = $20.00, X: s = $35.00. Can we conclude that there is a difference in the mean renting prices of apartments within 5 minutes walking distance from campus and apartments that are 10 minutes walking distance from campus?Test at the .05 significance level for a two-tailed test.
