The two-part assignment outlined below requires you to begin research on your analytical report topic.

Part I
Find two credible articles related to your analytical report topic, and write objective, one-paragraph abstracts for them. (Aim for 50-60 words each.) At the top of each abstract, cite complete reference information for the source.

Part II
Imagine you have finished your analytical report and know the outcome of your question. Write an abstract of your report that identifies the question you analyzed, the areas of investigation, and what you concluded. Obviously, you will have to guess at the outcome since you have not analyzed the data yet. Keep in mind that this is only a draft of the informative abstract that you will include with your final report. Limit your summary to one paragraph.
