History – Universal Exhibitions in 19th Century Paris

Request a review of the 19th Century World’s Fairs (Exhibition Universelle)in Paris. These were held in 1855, 1867, 1878, 1889, and 1900. This review will go through the details of each fair (such as number of participants, number of attendees, significant presentations of discovery, etc.). Please include these details and the fairs in a chronological order. Request this review delve into the 19th century details exposed and highlighted in the age of the industrial revolution and exhibited in these World’s Fairs. Please show examples that made these shows in Paris better and more significant than the other 19th century World’s Fairs held in other European cities. Please include details of materials used in the buildings of the fair, the materials of the exhibits, etc. Please have no more than one (1) page on the Eiffel Tower that was built for the 1889 World’s Fair. This should be a detailed review of these five fairs, while exhibiting the advancements made in the name of people and for France and Paris. Please include details on the roles Haussmann and Napoleon III played in the preparation and presentation of these fairs. References must be scholarly journals (peer edited publications), no more than two encyclopedias, and no more than two websites.
