Solution-Dialysis membrane but sucrose

Why is water able to move across the dialysis membrane but sucrose is not. Explain why this is the case.

1.) Water is attracted to pores in the membrane because of its polarity.

2.) Sucrose was immobilized because it adhered to the membrane.

3.) The sucrose molecule is smaller than the water molecule and will fit through the pores in the dialysis membrane.

4.) The sucrose molecule is larger than the water molecule and will not fit through the pores in the dialysis membrane.
