Refer to Chapters 4 to 9 in Salahu-Din and develop a hypothetical program that you are required to evaluate. Using a quantitative method for evaluating individual social work practice with clients, use a design with at least one baseline phase (A) and one intervention phase (B) evaluation. What problem does this program target? Is the data related to the targeted problem measured with standardized measuring instruments, direct behaviour observation, client self-monitoring, or through existing records? You are now aware that measuring requires testing for validity and reliability to ensure that you are measuring what you intend to measure, and that your measurements are both consistent and dependable. Describe how your data meets the requirements of validity and reliability.
