The burning issue in many countries as far as genetically modified foods are concerned is safety of these foods. It is important to understand that genetically modified foods are created in line with the latest food technology which involving introducing some changes in the DNA of the organism involved. Despite these numerous advantages genetically modified foods have been criticized with many people terming them unfit for human consumption.
