Why did the Indian children cheering for the cowboys never realize that they were the Indians

Paper instructions:

Basic outline/topic: I would like to write about the documentary “Reel Injun.”  Why did the Indian children cheering for the cowboys never realize that they were the Indians?  How incorrect was that portrayal of them?  “Reel Injun” shows a similarity between Indians and westerners: by pushing the view of Indians not being civilized and them being warriors, Hollywood pushed Indians to not only rebel against the idea of being “uncivilized” and conform to the western ways, but a lot of them didn’t want to fight in order to live and make sure their loved ones lived.

WORD COUNT: 1200-1500 words.
