1) Major / Career Search Reflection:
• For those of you who are not certain about future career / major, this assignment provides an opportunity to brainstorm some options. You can do some of the options provided below, but this is meant to be self-reflection on how you (your personality, interests, goals, etc.) make sense with a certain career / major.
• You can interview or shadow someone in a field / job / major that you may be interested. Provide the class with some information about the interview, and if this interview helped you to decide about this career.
• You can visit career services and talk with someone in their office. Please provide the class with information that was helpful to you, any thoughts that assisted you in your career decision process, etc.
• You can research a career, such as: finding statistics on future employment opportunities, what one does in this career, possible salary, etc.
• Whatever you choose to do, please also provide the class with 3 characteristics or traits about yourself that are influencing your career / major searches.

2) Career Certainty Reflection

• For those of you who are certain of your career path, many of the opportunities listed above are available to you (interviewing or shadowing someone, etc.)
• If you are interested, you can also do a preliminary job search in a place (city, hometown) that you are interested in living. You can provide the class with how this experience was for you, what resources you used, etc. (This is just for searching, don’t actually apply!)
• You can research a career, such as: finding statistics on future employment opportunities, what one does in this career, possible salary, etc.
• Whatever you choose to do, please also provide the class with 3 characteristics or traits about yourself that are influencing your career / major searches.
