This week is devoted to the discussion of a topic you may know quite a bit about: intrinsic vs. exrinsic motivation. However, recent research has shown us that the
two concepts should not be placed on the same spectrum as good vs. evil. In fact, they can be used simultaneously and should be as well.
Discuss the various reinforcers, rewards, punishments, etc. that you implement in your classroom or with those you work and their impact on motivation. Please do
not only talk about successful strategies but also reflect upon lessons learned through not so good strategies.
