7.    List at least three (3) different tribes from the Southeast and Northeast regions.
8.    In California, what is the name of the identification card used to recognize Native People within this state?
9.    Why is the issue of blood quantum so important to Native People?
10.  Name the tribes, including the year, who were removed from the Southeast to the Indian Territories.

The length of the essay response should be no less than one (1) full page of single-spaced written text.  Please completely address each sub-part included within the question in order to satisfy this section.
Please select from one (1) of the following:

1.   How are Native People represented in popular American culture?  Why is this impression an accurate or misrepresentation of Native People?  It may be helpful to select a specific model (i.e., Case Study review) as a method and example in order to address this question.
2.   Discuss how the impact of European culture(s) onto the North American continent has affected Native People.  Be as clear in your response as possible including dates and specific names when necessary.  The response should focus on areas which we have studied thus far.
3.  Select, discuss in detail and note, in as much depth as possible, a socio-political/cultural issue presented on one (1) of the following:  Native America Calling, Indian Country Today Media, Two Rows
The issue – or, as preferred, on-line article – will require a little more research to the selected topic.  Please include any/all hyperlinks used for this question, which must include the homepage of the original internet site.  Again, be as thorough as possible with this response.
