Case studies are stories. They present realistic, complex, and contextually rich situations and involve problems to solve and/or questions to answer. Thoroughly review the case study provided in the link below and answer the corresponding questions. Your responses to the questions must be detailed and include information supported by sources such as the textbook, journal articles, and/or popular health care publications. All non-textbook sources must have been published within the last 5 years.
Your case study responses must follow current APA format and include in-text citations for any resources you use to support your answers. You must also include a separate reference page. The Case Studies Activity must be submitted as a Microsoft Word document and must be at least 3 pages double-spaced.
Please discuss the following items for each case study:
What are some of the experiences that may have led up to the sense of identity and action?
Please describe any intrarole and/or interrole conflicts that may have arisen with respect to gender.
Are there any examples of sexist language, oppressive attitudes, and/or behaviors that have been harmful in the individual’s life? In what ways? How could the individual cope with these instances in a healthy/beneficial way?
How would you work with this individual in a counseling setting? What might be the focus of therapeutic intervention, and which theoretical approaches might be most effective?
Do you have any personal values that may influence your work with this individual? How would you engage in the process of bracketing?
