"Elton Mayo, a psychologist, developed the Human Relations Theory. It developed as a response to the Scientific Management Theory. Mayo believed that humans are complex beings who have unique needs and expectations. Multiple factors influence employee motivation and workplace behavior. Organizations need to focus on social and psychological needs as well. In addition to monetary incentives, healthy group dynamics and recognition of efforts are essential in driving workplace productivity." (Harappa, 2021).

Employee receives support and flexibility “Our thoughts (cognitions) need to be consistent with our feelings (affective), and these need to line up without behavioral intentions” (Scandura, 2018).

An in-depth survey is conducted on the topic of employee health and well-being. However, wellness program evaluations are often used to support the description of effective health promotion factors in the literature. Employer health-promoting characteristics of an organization that is not part of a health promotion program are seen as less significant. With this paper, the authors want to enlighten policymakers about optimal practices in health promotion while also providing real-world examples of workplace health promotion. Employee psychological requirements were identified as a crucial aspect in the overall well-being of workers by those who worked in organizations with supportive organizational cultures. A healthy work environment is characterized by several factors, some of which include respectful personal interactions, employee engagement, flexible work schedules, and appropriate communication. As the obesity epidemic, the incidence of chronic illnesses, and health literacy continue to grow in the United States, Walmart recognizes the growing need for and lack of understanding in this area. After realizing that health care would account for approximately 20 percent of the United States' gross domestic product by 2020, the company sees this as a chance to make a difference in health care while also appealing to the 150 million consumers that visit its shops each week. In order to change people's perceptions of retail healthcare, Walmart is bringing together the broad range of Health & Wellness products and services that they already provide (for example, pharmacies, hospitalization, DME, immunizations) while also expanding into new initiatives and goods that are focused on their customers' needs (for example health insurance) (e.g., patient testing, medical aid, and patient education resources). As a consequence of a wide range of past studies, the findings presented in this article are considered accurate.
