The COVID – 19 pandemic that surged universally over the last three years has caused a plethora of changes and life is no longer as we knew it. Moreover, a heightened awareness of social inequalities for vulnerable and at-risk groups have surfaced immensely where inequities already existed. In the attached article, these inequities are further discussed to include the elderly, poverty, race & ethnicity, special needs populations, and others, as well as effective practice. Discuss why you think the intersectionality of race, income, age and ability were vulnerable social determinants to the pandemic and offer suggestions for change. 250 words
