Assignment Instructions

You will complete several steps you build your speech.

This week you will tackle the first step; brainstorming.

For this assignment, consider a potential and realistic special occasion you will speak at (wedding, funeral, graduation). You may choose any occasion that suits you: flex your creativity!

Once you have selected your occasion, explore the path your speech will take.The intent is to introduce, commemorate, praise, pay tribute, nominate, or dedicate.

You will submit a short document which discusses your chosen topic and various points you may want to discuss in your speech. The organization of your points is not relevant at this point. This is a freestyle/brainstorming assignment that sets the foundation.
