Project Part 2: Written Media Release Something pertaining to gun violence

This Week, you will create and submit a written media release based on a scenario ( YOUR CHOICE AS LONG AS IT PERTAINS TO GUN VIOLINCE). Prior to writing your release, assess what information is necessary to be released. Consider what “must” be released and what “should” be released. You are not required to include every fact provided to you. It is your job as PIO to sift and choose what will be included in your release.

Guidelines and Requirements

Use the Inverse Pyramid style of writing to develop your press release.

The information must be accurate and written so that the general public will understand the content.
Write clearly and concisely.
Grammar, spelling and syntax must be correct.
Use Microsoft Word to write your release.
