The fiscal stimulus and tax policies by the federal government are partly to blame for the recent spike in annual budget deficits and increasing cumulative national debt.  Is the increase in our deficits and cumulative debt worth it at this time?  What are the advantages and disadvantages of this position?  What are the basic options to reduce the annual deficit?  Which course of action do you like the best and why?
