Federalist and Anti-Federalist Debate on Ratification of the Constitution

The founding fathers spent a long, hot summer  together debating, writing, compromising, and finally  finishing the U.S. constitution. The Federalists were led by James Madison, Alexander Hamilton and John Jay. They argued for ratification, while Anti-federalists George Mason, Patrick Henry, Luther Martin and Richard Henry Lee argued against ratification. Compare and Contrast the opposing viewpoints during the  ratification of the Constitution. Discuss  the personalities and issues involved. Why did Federalists win?
