Please create a preparation outline for your informative speech. Remember the outline should have a thesis statement, introduction, body and conclusion with main points and sub points. Also remember that the outline should have consistent symbolization (alpha/numeric only) and indentation. Finally remember that your outline should have at least five references, three of your references must be from academic/peer reviewed sources. The professor feedback on my outline
This is basically a good outline with lots of information – maybe too much for a 3-5 minute presentation. However, you have three main points all numbered “1.” with no subpoints. You’ve done the same thing in the conclusion. All main points: thesis restatement and closing are both numbered 1. The main reason for requiring consistent symbolization and indentation in an outline is to be able to easily follow the line of reasoning. Numbering everything 1. and having no subpoints makes this difficult. In addition, your content is not completely objective. The purpose of an informative speech is to provide factual information to your audience that would add information to what they already know on a particular topic. Your content sounds more like a persuasive outline than an informative one. The way you’ve shared the information you provided is very biased and opinionated – the goal is to just share the facts.( some data)
