For this paper, you want to reflect on the reading and associated materials.  It’s fine to start with a summary, but you want to go beyond this to say what you think about ideas in the reading and associated materials and why.  You could talk about points that you think are interesting and why you think they’re interesting, raise questions about the material and indicate what you think about these questions, pick out points you agree with or don’t agree with and explain why, or talk about things that you’ve come across (articles, movies, podcasts, books, etc.) or experiences that you have had that help you to think about the reading and how.  Basically, you want to show not only that you have understood the reading, but also that you are able to reflect thoughtfully on it.
