USE  AS MANY MUSICAL TERMS PROVIDED IN UPLOADS AS POSSIBLE. PAPER CAN BE WRITTEN IN BASIC TERMS DOES NOT HAVE TO BE WRITTEN USING COMPLEX AS LONG AS MUSICAL TERMS IN UPLOADS ARE USE TO ANSWER QUESTIONS BELOW.

I have provided six distinct works of music from the Medieval period.
In your essay, I want you to discuss and illustrate the distinctions and similarities between each work.

What makes these works the same? What makes them different?

I would like you to use the music terms that have learned and are learning presently, as well as your own non-musical descriptions, e.g. this works sounds melancholy, etc.

There are two long works in this collection: Hildegards Ordo Virtutum, and Machauts Messe de Notre Dame. You are not required to listen to these works in their entirety, but please listen enough to assert sound conclusions.
