If you are wanting to look some topics you can go to the UAPTC Library homepage and click on LibGuides and then Speech Communication and then click on Informative Speech tab and down on the right side of page are different list you can click on.

You will love your informative speech topic and enjoy your speech if . . .You remember that you are giving an informative speech, not a persuasive speech or demonstration speech.  This means that:

You will be informing your audience about your topic.
You will not be sharing your personal views about the topic.
You will not be asking your audience to change their views.
You will not be showing your audience how to do something. 
You select a topic that:

You are interested in.
You already know something about.
You have always wanted to know something about.
You make sure your topic is research friendly.
You can 3 types of credible, scholarly sources required (website, periodical, book, interview, other)
You can easily divide your research into three main point.
