Issue:  A book called “One Nation under Therapy” by Sommers and Satel (St Martin’s Press, 2005) was highly critical of the mental health industry in America. It argued that an industry of grief experts had emerged in recent years to help people with their grief, and this was unnecessary.  What are your thoughts about that? Is there a need for grief counselors? How can society do a better job in the future to help the bereaved?
