“Vaping Rises Among Teens” .The premise and conclusion of the argument based on statistics is that vaping is very popular for young adults, yet there are harmful side effects. The article does not use any deceptive statitstics. The information came from the National Institute of Health. The argument has reassured me that vaping is not healthy for you, even as an alternate to smoking traditional cigarettes. Vaping has several health risks, such as heart disease and even cancer, similar to the traditional cigarette. In my opinion, vaping is a fancy way to use nicotine. The primary way I develop my opinion or persuasive argument is by observation. I live in a college town. It is full of vape shops. I always see a lot of teenagers hanging out at these shops. Also, I have teenagers as children, and they tell me stories of how friends have gotten addicted. Also, a couple of them has even been hospitalized. To add, the media, and news is full of articles with stats and real life stories from families who have had a bad experience due to vaping.
