You may complete two Performance Responses for extra credit this semester. Each response is worth up to 100 points and 2.5% of your semester grade. To earn full credit on these optional responses, you should 1. Choose a performance from the List of Suggested Performances. 2. Take the performance form to the performance you’ve chosen to attend. 3. Pick up a program if one is available. This may help you know how many pieces, songs, or movements you will hear during the performance. 4. Take notes. Use only your observations (what you see and hear); do not use any other source. This is not a group project. You must complete the assignment on your own. If you use information from another source (i.e., Wikipedia or other Internet site, program notes, friend’s assignments), you will earn 0 points on the assignment and will be reported to the Office of Dean of Students for plagiarism. 5.
