Ethics in Philosophy For this essay assignment pick one question to answer from each of these groups. Group A: Choose one of the following two questions to answer. Responses should be 300 to 500 words. 1. Compare and contrast Wollstencraft’s and Gilligan’s (you can include Nodding) views on women’s ethics. Which view do you agree with the most and why? 2. Explain these Ethics theories: Feminist Ethics as developed by Gilligan/Nodding, Aristotle’s Virtue Ethics, and Kant’s Categorical Imperative. Which of these theories do you think is the most valid? Do different Ethics theories apply to different situations? Explain. Group B: Choose one of the following two questions to answer. Responses should be 300 to 500 words. 1. To what degree is Natural Law Ethics an absolutist or a relativist theory. Explain your answer. 2. What Ethics theories do you use and rely on when making Ethics decisions in you own life. Has the study of the different views changed your ideas about how to make these kinds of decisions. Explain with examples.
