I applied to Communication major at CSU Long Beach. I did not finish only one major requirement. In addition I finished two major requirement with A grade. Can you explain my situation to think over the admission’s decision? My GPA is 3.65 after finishing winter 2014. Fall semester 2013 was 3.63

Denials of admission are made only after a review of academic qualifications and weighing those qualifications against

the competitive nature of our applicant pool. Therefore these decisions are rarely overturned. Appeals are only considered

for extraordinary circumstance beyond the control of the applicant. If you believe this applies to you, appeals must be

submitted in writing within 15 days of the date of this notification and must include a basis for the appeal, as well as any

supporting documentation. We will notify you by e-mail within 4 to 6 weeks of our response to your appeal request. Only

one appeal may be submitted for an academic term, so the packet must be clear and compelling when submitted.
