A Cardiac Arrest Reflective Essay

Introduction
The publication enumerates the events that constitute a recent experience that I was a witness. I will apply the reflective model by Graham Gibbs. The cycle is from Gibbs 1988 establishment the reflective cycle of 1988. The experience involves my neighbour who I name Carmel for the purposes of confidentiality. My neighbour is of the age of forty-five female. The main experience constitutes a cardiac unrest that was an attribute of one Saturday morning. The events that unfold constitute form the moment before the arrival of paramedics, their arrival, and the initial circumstances after arriving at the hospital.
Description
My neighbour, Carmel on Saturday morning was experiencing a severe chest pain that later on become a combination of short breath. The cardiac arrest became more alarming, and I had to call an ambulance in order to save her life. A few minutes later, an ambulance came to the apartment with four paramedics. In addition, the crew of the ambulance came with an FRU car that had the FRU responder. The responder made a performance on Carmel that was a primary survey. The instance led to the transportation of Carmel to the nearest medical centre. I accompanied the crew since my neighbour lives alone in her apartment. The ambulance crews made her stand from her position before the transportation. The paramedics let Carmel walk from where she was to the ambulance. On arrival, the ambulance crews also made her walk to the A & E on arrival at the hospital (Schmidt, 2012, p. 1151).
Feelings
The consequent actions of the crew made me wonder in disbelief. The paramedics allowed the patient, Carmel, to walk all the time unaided. The instance may have been beneficial to the ambulance crew since it made a cut in the time of their work on a weekend. However, the act was very unethical since it would have made the scenario for Carmel even worse. The most obvious feeling according to me was to place Carmel on a carrier before she would arrive at hospital and lay on a hospital bed. The aspect would have at least made the situation less…………
