As the scene ends, Senator Hanson states that she understands that “Between the two of us [herself and Senator Runyon], I’m the one who’s under oath.” After this scene, Senator Hanson meets with Congressman Webster.At the end of this scene, Senator Hanson says, “My private life is nobody’s business.” Webster replies, “The people will tell you it is their business.
