This week you will research a company that utilizes process costing. Throughout this chapter, you have been given several examples of different industries that utilize process costing. Research on the Internet to identify one company that utilizes process costing. Then answer the following questions:

• After locating a company, identify a product line that utilizes process costing.
• Give a brief history of that product line. What is the product? What raw materials are used in the manufacturing process of this product?
• Locate the company’s latest annual report and describe the three types of inventory and their amounts listed on the balance sheet. Annual reports can be located under Investor Relations (or similar area) within a company’s corporate website. They may also be located at the SEC’s website at www.sec.gov and are located under EDGAR filings. You will want to look the 10K for that company. These reports can be quite lengthy and you will want to locate the financial statements and Notes to the Financial Statementssections.
