3) Rebound relationships: Wise or foolish?
Many people believe that relationship partners who break up should wait a while before becoming involved in new romantic relationships: i.e., they should avoid ‘rebound’ relationships before they have fully ‘recovered’ from their previous relationships. But is this true? Critically evaluate the research evidence and discuss the circumstances under which quickly moving on with a new partner might be more or less adaptive.
