Explain the hiring decision process between the recruiter and the hiring manager. When a position is recruited for and many applicants express interest through submission of resumes, completion of the employment application as well as internal transfer/promotion requests, sometimes it can be overwhelming for the recruiter. It becomes important to narrow the choices from applicants to the final candidates who are the most qualified, are the most likely to be truly interested in the position and available to start in a reasonable time frame. What do you feel are the most important assessment methods to use and why?
