You are required to write a 1,500 word report based on an investigation into the current operation of an organization from your field of study (Hospitality, Tourism and Business).
The purpose of this report is to apply the retail visual merchandising and buyer psychology principles to an organization outside of the retail sector.
In order to test the transferability of principles and practices the report will cover the following points:
1.A situational analysis of the organization and the market in which it operates.
2.An assessment of the impacts of technology and globalization on the organization
3.A critical evaluation of how the organization meets the needs of the consumer.
4.Taking into consideration points 1-3, provide a justified identification of and proposed application of visual merchandising and buyer psychology principles and theories that would be beneficial to the organisation.
