Module 1 discusses lessons learned from previous terrorist incidents. Identify and discuss three (3) weakness or improvements in any aspect of the National Incident Management System mission or structure, that in your opinion have come about by lessons learned from our local response to a localized terrorist event. Note: I define a localized event as an event similar in size and scope to the April 19, 1995 Okalahoma City Alfred Murrah Federal Building bombing, not an event the size and scope of the September 11, 2001 events, NYC World Trade Center area, Flight 93, Pentagon, whose complexity also had an immediate and long term significant national and international scope. However, if you elect to address the 911 events, do so from the local response perspective.
