Compare and Contrast Reductionism and Holism
Reductionism and holism are similar in various ways and differ with respect to several perspectives. The following are the similarities and differences between the two philosophical concepts;
A key difference between reductionism and holism is that while reductionism recommends the use of a single factor in to facilitate understanding of the relatively complicated nature of human behavior, holism recommends that behavioral study be done through the study of the whole. This is one of the greatest differences between the two with the supporters of either arguing in support of either factions as being the most effective in facilitating the study and subsequent understanding of behavior.
