Zora Neale Hurston and The southern Literary Canon

The writer need to argue that Zora Neale Hurston is one of the few southern writers who was abandoned and forgotten because she did not affiliate herself with the civil right movement. The writer have to establish a good argument on why Hurston should be viewed as a southern writer who tackled women issues at that time and how she implores the African vernacular and demonstrate the African culture and community in her novel their eyes were watching god.
