A 2014 report by an environmental agency in Abu Dhabi indicated that the GCC countries were among the world’s top generators of food waste; and that in the UAE, food waste in a month comprises 39 per cent of an average household’s organic waste. To what extent does this problem still exist?

• Conduct the survey on Food Waste to three (3) individuals and you may interview them to get more information.

• Based on the results of survey you conducted, answer the following questions:

What are the views of the respondents on food waste?

Why do the respondents throw food or waste food?

What strategy/ies should be done about food waste?

• Use your own words and full sentences when completing each question. Submit your qualitative analysis together with the 3 surveys you conducted.
