Hypothetical Task: An internationally renowned singing and dancing artiste has decided to take a spectacular live performance on a world tour in 2015. Due to the sexualised dance routines and revealing outfits that she is known for, this might be a problem.

You as Cultural Advisor, have been asked to compile an advisory report for the artiste’s management, warning them of two culturally diverse countries that the tour might want to avoid or they may have to alter the content in the show, analysing the possible consequences on both the artiste and the audience if they do not take your advice.

Critically evaluate the severity of the cultural/social, legal and ethical impacts they may experience if your advice is ignored, using real life examples and theories to underpin your advice.

Justify your answer by using relevant academic theory and by referring to specific named cases and laws.
